There is something that I really really want to share with you.
Kaal majhya ghari majhe Canada hun alele 2 colleagues jevayla ale hote.
Mi tharavlach hota ki hyanchyapeki koni ghari ala ki tyanna typical maharashtrian jevan khau ghalaycha. So, kalcha menu hota: VB, aamti, dahyatli kakdichi koshimbir, papad, ambyacha loncha, palak-mugachi daal bhaji, batata kaachrya, fulka, sadha ani keshri bhaat!

Tyanna aapli aamti tar itki avadli! vatya-vatya bharun pyayla to!... ha ha .... Indian dal soup mhane! They even loved to eat the way we usually eat our fulkas or rotis. Ti loka usually roll karun khataat. Pan tyanna aapli padhhat khoop avadli ani tyatun gharatle sagle pan hote jevayla, so they felt very very homely.

Mi mhantla in most of the Indian households you will be welcomed in a similar manner.
